Most of the people come to Tarifa by coincidence and often stay there for years. The latter applies to Tanja. Since the earliest days in kitesurfing, Tanja puts her heart and soul in it. "I still remember the time, when we tried to inflate the Kite with our mouth...hours later, we just noticed that the pump was missing."
Today Tanja looks back on long lasting experiences and knows how important it is to communicate that knowledge and "know how" to kite to enthusiastic people.
"Kitesurfing is my passion, whether it's to get this Adrenalin feeling in competitions, to organize kite camps on the most beautiful spots of the world, or to teach a lot of students in order to share this passion."
The result is Free your Mind and its home based kiteschool in Tarifa.
Tanja herself is quite sure: "I will definitely stay much longer here in Tarifa, my home, and also for being so close to Africa.“
